Professor Chris Whatley

A Scottish historian who's worked at the Universities of Dundee and St Andrews, Chris is best known for his work on Scottish economic and social history, but more recently has broadened his interests to include political and cultural history. Chris's most important books have been The Scots and the Union (2006, 2007), and The Scots and the Union: Then and Now (2014). His most recent book is Immortal Memory: Burns and the Scottish People (2016).
