D.H. Robinson

Daniel Robinson is an historian and fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford. He holds bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees from Peterhouse, Cambridge, gained between 2008 and 2016. Until the General Election of 2017, he served as Senior Policy Adviser to the Minister for Cabinet Office, specialising on the union and devolution in the aftermath of Brexit. His academic research focuses on the relationship between geopolitics, nationalism, and state-building in the English-speaking world during the last three centuries, and he is currently completing a new history of the American Revolution, alongside a theoretical work on contemporary unionism.
