Thank you for a lucid statement of the positive reasons for staying united. I too had sleepless nights before the 2014 referendum and am worried again. I can claim all four nationalities and so like being British for this reason as well as the ones you give. Having been brought up in England, I am taking pleasure in learning Welsh and Gaelic.
