Cat Headley

Cat Headley is a Partner at a Scottish law firm specialising in civil litigation. She was a Scottish Labour candidate in the 2016 Scottish Parliamentary elections and a Party spokesperson on Justice and Policing from 2015 - 2016. She first became involved in politics as the lead volunteer organiser for the local Better Together campaign in Edinburgh North and Leith.

She was a graduate of the inaugural Jo Cox Women in Leadership Programme and sits on the Board of Trustees of SAMH, Scotland's leading mental health charity. She is a political commentator contributing to BBC Scotland, STV and Times Red Box.

Born in Orkney, Cat studied law at the University of Glasgow.
